Scheduling water deliveries:

We can make same day deliveries, however if you can give us 24 hours notice it is greatly appreciated. In the summer time more lead time is appreciated (48hrs.) as the trucks may be on construction project or other work during the day. Also, if we can avoid Sunday deliveries (unless previously scheduled) it is greatly appreciated.  Some planning suggestions are; have a gauge, sight tube or low water level indicator light on your tank. Check your tank (physically) at least one a week, not later than Thursday. In the summer time when your well is not producing much water you should check twice a week (Monday and Thursday).

Access; Please read especially if you are a new customer.

The Minimum Required Clearance is 12 feet wide and 12 feet vertical clearance. More clearance is required in tight turns. We take very good care of our trucks and do not push tree branches or bushes out of the way with our trucks. If you are unsure about the clearance please measure with a tape measure and or pole. Many times people assume that because they go in and out with a horse trailer or RV that it is fine for a “truck” and it may not be the case. Also we do have delivery vehicles with trailers. Please note; The State Fire Code  requires a 16 feet width  and 13.5 feet vertical clearance for a single residence. For multiple residences State Fire Code requirement is 20 feet wide.

Fill Connection/Hydrant connections:

If you need water hauled on a regular basis you need to have a fill connection installed in your tank(s). Especially if you have a tall 5000 gallon tank (8’ dia.) or a 10000 gallon tank. We do not carry ladders on our trucks. Also, having to climb ladders on a regular basis is an unnecessary risk for our drivers. Having an appropriate connection on your tank allows the tank to be safely and efficiently filled. As well, in case of emergency it would allow the Fire Department to draw/draft water from the tank.

Appropriate fill connections on side of tank:

3” Bulkhead fitting/pipe/valve with a 2.5” Male NST (Fire Hose Thread) and dust cover.

3” Bulkhead fitting/pipe/valve with a 3” Female Camlock and dust plug.

4” Bulkhead fitting/pipe/valve with a 4.5” Male NST (Fire Hose Thread) and dust cover.

(Fire Hose Threaded connection must be 4.5” not 4”)

4” Bulkhead fitting/pipe/valve with a 4” Female Camlock and dust plug.

Appropriate fill connection to top of tank:

3” Bulkhead fitting on top of tank with a 3” pipe running down the side and secured. Piping end connection should be a 3” Female Camlock and dust plug.

All connection points should be located 18” to 24” above the surface and be secured/supported.

(Think fire hydrant height; to prevent the hose from kinking)

Storage Tanks:

If you do not have a tank or need to replace your tank (or add storage capacity) we recommend purchasing a 5000 gallon poly/plastic tank. If you need more storage you can manifold connect (3” or larger pipe) multiple 5000 gallon tanks or purchase a 10000 gallon tank. It is best to place the tank on a concrete pad. As well the tanks can be placed on gravel. However, use Base Rock (AB) or ¾” Crush Rock. These products will not damage your tank. Do Not use pea gravel. Pea gravel is not necessary, will not stay in place and makes a mess. You are far more likely to end up with a leaning or unstable tank with pea gravel.

Water Sources:

We have both public and private water sources. As a general rule, in order to protect our water sources we do not disclose specific details. As well, all company employees (including managers) are prohibited from discussing  or disclosing company information outside of the company.
